And since I factory reset the nook, it wasn't registered to the adobe account anymore. You may need to go into your mac applications and delete from there. Made my own B&N account and used those credentials upon set-up.įully deleted Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) from my computer (the app and installer drive). I figured this might be an issue, so I fully deregistered my device (she has her own) and set it up again as if I had just taken it out of the box (factory reset). I had been logged into my mother's B&N account because our membership is under her name. Hi! I just had this exact issue this morning and I also have a mac. I’ve also contacted support through both B&N and adobe, and they were unable to help. I have unplugged and replugged in multiple times both before and after opening Adobe, I have deauthorized and reauthorized my computer in Adobe multiple times, I have uninstalled and reinsyalled Adobe, and I have restarted my computer. When I try to go into the nook folder, there is not one that says anything about adobe digital editions (other forum responses have said to delete that from the nook folder and try again, but I cannot do this). I reset my nook and connected it to my adobe account (it was not connected to the adobe account before and I figured that was the problem) and now Adobe Digital Editions is not registering my nook at all.
#Nook glowlight plus adobe digital editions update#
Last night, Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 was able to recognize and authorize my nook, and I dragged and dropped a library book to the nook, where it appeared but I was unable to open it, getting an error message of "loan token update failed".

I got the nook in the mail last night and set it up. Hi All, I just got a Nook Glowlight with the sole purpose of reading library books from the Libby app.
